British Office Taipei
The British Office Taipei () is the representative office of the United Kingdom (UK) in the Republic of China with a principal role to promote the British trade and investment interests. Its counterpart body in the UK is the Taipei Representative Office in the U.K.
The office was opened in 1993 as British Trade and Cultural Office. On 26 May 2015, its name was changed to British Office Taipei to reflect the full scope of the office work.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=U.K. renames representative office in Taiwan, retains functions )〕
The office is located at President International Tower (統一國際大樓) in Xinyi District, Taipei. It is accessible within walking distance south of Taipei City Hall Station of the Taipei Metro.
